Computer Animation 3 Project #1: Bouncing Ball


This project was to use a maya ball to capture the motion of an actual ball bouncing from the ground. In my opinion, what I think I did well in this project was capturing the squash and stretch key frames. For example, in between certain key frames, thats where the squash and stretch frames lies. For improvements, I could have made the the motion of the ball in the air look better. For instance, the ball would most likely follow the actual ball but it wouldn’t follow exactly how I wanted it to be. I think that happened because of how positions of the ball where the frames were. Ala in all, this project was a little confusing and tough, but I think I did well on it.
